From June 15 to 16, 2024, Raytor Instruments participated in the offline seminar on transdermal drug delivery preparations held at the Century Yuan Lakeside Garden Hotel in Nanjing Xuanwu Lake. The conference brought together outstanding representatives from the transdermal drug delivery industry across the country and experts and scholars in the field of drug research and development to discuss the challenges and difficulties encountered by transdermal drug delivery preparations in the process of new drug research and consistency evaluation. Mr. Lu, technical director of Raytor Instruments, gave a wonderful speech on the issue of “Verification of Transdermal Drug Delivery Instruments”, demonstrating Raytor Instruments’ professional strength and contribution in this field.

As a safe and convenient new drug delivery method, transdermal drug delivery has received great attention from the pharmaceutical industry in recent years. This conference was hosted by EFG Manager Mr. Pan, Raytor Instrument Technical Director Lu Jiaqi, Shanghai Hengze Technology Co., Ltd. General Manager Li Changyun, and Shanghai Zimeng Technology Co., Ltd. General Manager Han Guangqian. They started from key topics such as in vitro release (IVRT) research of topical drug products, rheological characterization of transdermal drug delivery preparations, in vitro transdermal test (IVPT) research, and droplet size and API particle size analysis, providing participants with a comprehensive knowledge exchange platform on transdermal drug delivery.

As a national high-tech enterprise, Raytor Instruments has been committed to improving the efficiency and quality of drug research and development through technological innovation. In this meeting, Mr. Lu shared the company’s experience and achievements in equipment performance verification around the theme of “Verification of Transdermal Preparation Instruments”. He emphasized that good equipment verification is the key to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of experimental results, which is also the principle that Raytor Instruments has long adhered to.

Drug delivery technologies

During the break of the meeting, the participants actively visited and learned about the products exhibited by Raytor Instruments, including the dissolution series products RT800 and RT812 and the pre-formulation research series products NCE DP and NCE P3. Among them, Raytor Instruments’ RT8 transdermal diffusion system uses Franz vertical diffusion cells for in vitro release and permeation tests of semi-solid preparations. The automated structure improves experimental accuracy and reproducibility, reduces errors, and provides reference information for the development of semi-solid preparations. It plays a key role in in vitro release tests of creams, ointments, etc.

Pharmaceutical innovation in drug delivery

Raytor Instruments said that it was a great honor to participate in this seminar and share and communicate with colleagues in the industry. The company will continue to uphold the mission of “making scientific experiments easier”, continuously improve its R&D capabilities and service levels, and make greater contributions to the development of the pharmaceutical industry. In the future, Raytor Instruments will continue to pay attention to industry trends and actively participate in similar academic activities to promote technological progress and industry development.

Scientific research leads, waiting for results to bloom. Raytor Instruments would like to express its deep gratitude to all staff for their hard work, and at the same time, it is very grateful to the organizer Chengfeng Jihai for the invitation and all-round support.
